I love JetHawks games for multiple reasons: 1 Ticket prices...they're super affordable. $10 for Preferred Grandstand and $13 (I think for Club...which has waitress service! And if you think that's too expensive, keep an eye out for local coupon deals or come on Make a Difference Monday when there's always a special where you bring a specific item (mentioned on Facebook with you to the box office and you'll get a FREE Preferred Grandstand ticket. Parking is $5, but that is often lumped into those local coupon deals. 2 Relaxed atmosphere...you feel like you're watching a hometown team with real hometown fans who become friends. It's true. There is definitely a sense of community and pride within the people who attend these games. Go and feel these happy warm fuzzies for yourself! 3 Beer...you can get your staple American megabrewers, but you can also enjoy a local microbrew at the Kinetic Brewing Beer Garden. Totally worth the extra money (meaning the $1 more than a domestic draft! . One thing I'm bummed about is that they removed the fighter jet (is that what it was? that greeted you as you walked into the Hangar. Don't know why they removed this icon, and it is sad not seeing it welcome you to current homestand game, but it just isn't the same and having a ring of golden poppies is nice, but, meh. EDITED TO ADD I found out that the jet is getting refurbed and will be returning! YAY! Hopefully it will be back home in June. That'll be nice. Also wanted to mention that Rachel, the beer bartender at the Kinetic Brewing Beer Garden, is one awesome possum. Super sweet and really great. Go see her for good beer!
What an amazing customer service oriented company.....NOT. My family attended the All Star game this last week and during the 2nd inning me and my daughter went to the snack bar to order some food and drinks for the family. We made our order and stepped down to the end of the booth to await our order. 2nd inning ended, 3rd inning ended 4th inning ended and still no food. A lady identifying herself as a manager apologized and stated she would personally go back and make our food. 10 minutes later we had our food and headed up to our seats as the 6th inning begun. Well now the fun starts. I bite into my burger and gotta say it tasted pretty good especially considering it only took a little over and hour to get it. Second bite and I tasted something horrible. Burnt tasting and weird texture, horrified I look down to see garbage in my burger. A burnt cheese wrapper and some weird red plastic squares. I return to the booth and confront the manager who said she was making my food and she immediatly passed the buck saying I can't believe someone did that. Wait isn't that person you. Well some lady then tells me she is the manager and she will handle it. At this point I let them know I will bring it up with Jethawks front office. She tries to convince me to give it to her and she would make sure it was handled and gave me a refund. Well I emailed and messaged and called the front office, Public relations and the president. To date nobody has reached out to us for an apology or anything. They were forwarded a very clear statement and pictures. Not a peep out of them. If I could give negative stars I would. Sadly this is our families 6th game this year and have had an awesome time at the park and looked forward to our outings there. Not anymore you have lost a loyal fan.
I love minor league games! This ballpark is somewhat new. It reminds me of the Stockton ports. $10 for game day tickets. It was a very warm day but plenty of shade behind the home dugout of the JetHawks. It was easy to find and parking was right off the road for $5. Right across the movie theater so you can't miss this place. The food had reasonable prices. Well cheap comparing to major league games. Water was $3. On field fitted 59fifty hats are $25. Some very cute lady employees here . Game went by quick. A great number of people showed and you have a higher chance of nabbing a ball here for a souvenir! Would have been awesome if they have icees but they had some shaved ice for sale. Great small ballpark overall and they get the kids involved with lots of running on the field!
Great place. Family oriented. Excellent atmosphere. Only thing is that the staff at the beer/michelada booth should not be working there. Skinny black guy who I did not get his name is rude, and is usually on his phone wearing his earbuds. He does not listen to customers and looks like he could care less about his job. Hopefully he can receive better training or maybe put in a position on which he has less interaction with customers. Especially loyal customers who spend big bucks at every game. Hope someone reads this and does something about it. Peace.
This is a fantastic place to spend an evening! Watching America’s favorite pastime is a delightful experience. The ticket prices are quite reasonable, and the staff is incredibly entertaining. I really enjoy coming here during the summer.
