The staff was friendly, it felt as if they rushed you to come with the order, especially between the question for Dessert, but they hastened us to pay and leave the bill. Good selection of dishes on the menu I am sure it suits every taste and the food was delicious. The dessert menu was like a step back to time. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Certainly worth a try when you're in the area.
I love this place. It has really old-fashioned serious at table service with proper napkins, the waiters are so beautiful. The food is all generous, well cooked and served properly. My favorites are Sirloin Steak, absolutely perfect medium, rarely anywhere else to find and was in a ton of steak joints. Chicken manas, essentially a huge chicken carving with the side of spaghetti in tomato sauce. Just Jum! Pizzas are loaded. Salads and tapas are also great. Really recommend the apple flon
One of the best Portuguese restaurants in my city. During my first visit I asked the waiter what kind of food he recommended, and he said that all the good would be good, but actually everything was really great. I recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a good place where you hang with friends, family and close employees! : 4/5 Value : 5/5 Atmosphere : 3/5
I have eaten there twice on business trips, so I will say that the 1st. meal was from the charts, and the two. Dinner was so good and even better. The food there is absolutely amazing the servers are fun and I must say that everyone is very attractive and happy. We all know that happiness is attractive in itself. You seem so happy to work there. If you have time here, I promise you that you will not be disappointed and the wine is also the top of the line. I can't expect it again at the end of the month on my next business trip.
We regularly ate at Pico Bar Grill when we lived in London a few years ago, and like most places we used to enjoy frequent they're all still in business and still offer the same great food and service, and some like Picos have added outside wining and dining. Pico, a Portuguese restaurant and tapas bar, was very busy on Sunday evening. It's just a two minute walk from Vauxhall Station and has a number of Santander Cycle docking stations scattered nearby, always our favoured mode of transport. The menu hasn't changed a great deal, why change something that customers enjoy and that clearly works. Also the management is the same so the emphasis on good service runs through the heart of the business in the same way that the railway line runs above it, not that it detracts in anyway as the trains rattle by above. The garlic mushrooms to start with were a solid starter, nothing too flamboyant, the monkfish lightly cooked in chilli was great and the duck breast in red wine sauce was cooked rare and just right. The Portuguese lager, Sagres, is very light and refreshing. A relaxing couple of hours, enjoying our meal and watching the world go by, as well as Jaguar Land Rover group cars passing on their way to and from the Wimbledon tennis dedicated hotel in Westminster almost every couple of minutes or so. Great food and great service at Picos.
