Stopped for lunch, food was great and service was also great, atmosphere needs updates

Tried to go to an old familiar place for breakfast and was so disappointed. Service was terrible had to ask for refill of coffee. Over priced food. 2 people, #1 had 1 pancake, side of bacon, coffee #2 had 1 piece of frenchtoast with strawberries (no whipcream offered) and water. Bill was almost $25.00. That was 1 pancake and 1 piece of French toast not 1 order of each. French toast had no powder sugar or sweetness. Pancake also very bland. Side of bacon alone was $5.50 for three pieces and this was not premium bacon. Used to be a fantastic place. Check out reviews dates. No current good ones. Again so disappointing.

The food and service here is very good. My husband says the hamburger patty tastes like he remembers growing up. I was able to swap my toast for cinnamon French toast which was very delicious. The service staff is always 5 stars.

Really been a staple breakfast diner since I was a teen! Will always enjoy this spot.

Very old but cute ma and pa restaurant. Food is good and you get a lot! Very fast service too!
