Outback Steakhouse Lakeland North Road 98

The food at this restaurant was mediocre at best. My baked potato was not loaded as I had ordered, and when the server suggested bringing out the ingredients to make it right, I declined because my potato was already cold. The steak was tough and the service was average, with some staff members at this Outback displaying attitude, especially the hostess who seated us. The restaurant appeared dirty, with the men's restroom in poor condition and the soap dispenser broken. Our table was located by the noisy kitchen, and the booth seating was in need of repair - I even fell into a hole when sitting down. When I requested to move to a different booth away from the kitchen, the hostess gave attitude.

Jewels was our server, she was very personable and knowledgeable of our choice. Pictured is what remained of the Sidney Shrooms. These fried mushrooms were battered with the Bloom'n Onion spices and moist, yum. The Bloom'n Onion was good as always. Outback again hit the yum, yum spot. Come and ask for Jewels.

Danny, the manager. and our waitress. CJ, were amazing. We had a great dinner and experience overall!

To start our appetizer was given to the table right next to us who had been seated for 2 minutes, I had seen it happen and made eye contact with the server who was trying to whisper to the manager that he just gave the wrong table our app I probably wouldn't not even been told about the issue. Now we had a new appetizer that was rushed out but now our food is being overcooked so not to serve our food right after we get our appetizer. Definitely not a good experience at all my wife was never asked if she would like another drink she only had one just a waste of money!

My food was very good , I was trying to stay on a certain plan so they accommodated me to please leaving some items off my salad , some items off my Brussels so I was happy. Our server was great and pleasant. Once again the runners ran the food but refuse to clear a plate ? I dislike that about any restaurant, it 's poor and needs to be addressed. The ambiance was awful with a table celebrating a birthday with screaming babies and toddlers pretty much ruined date night as we reflected back on our children never did that in a restaurant honestly! But we love date nights and we love a good meal at outback. My husband enjoyed his steak and baked potato. We will return , we love the reward system too.
