Fuzzy’s Taco Shop - Lakeland

Unfortunately, I’m not likely to return. Every type of rice I tried was undercooked—both the mix-mex and cilantro lime varieties. While they had good flavor and definitely showed potential, the texture really let them down. The food was only slightly warm, which didn't help either. I urge the kitchen to reconsider their cooking methods, especially for the rice. Normally, I finish my leftovers, but this time I had to throw it away.

I visited Fuzzy's today, and the manager came by to explain how the dishes were prepared and described various items on the menu. Everything looked wonderful! I ordered the beef burrito, and it was absolutely delicious—I will definitely be getting it again!

The food and service were excellent, but when the sun is shining brightly, it becomes nearly impossible for both the staff and customers to function properly. I asked if they could close the blinds, but they said they’ve been dealing with this issue for years without finding a solution. It’s actually quite amusing to watch everyone in the corner of the restaurant trying to enjoy themselves while shielding their eyes with their hands. It's a shame that the management and owners can’t address this simple issue to create a more comfortable atmosphere, as I would definitely visit more often.

I had my first dining experience at this Fuzzy's, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. I kicked things off with a strawberry banana margarita, which was absolutely delicious. My daughter ordered the brisket nachos, and they were quite good. I went with the grilled mahi fish tacos, which I really enjoyed. Naturally, I had to try their hottest sauce available—the butt burnin' sauce. It was decent, but I wished it had a bit more heat. Fortunately, the place wasn't crowded when we visited, which is always a plus. The staff did a great job and continued to be attentive even after we settled the bill, making me eager to return. The only thing that could have improved my experience would have been if they still served the frozen jack and coke.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The fish bowls were incredible, and the food was even better. I also loved the atmosphere and the music. Overall, it was a perfect 10/10 experience. I will definitely return. My favorite server was Nikki!
