J & V's Burgers & Pizza - Lake Cowichan

First time we visited we had the turkey club, very good sandwich with real roast turkey. Tried the BBQ chicken pizza it was also very good, lots of toppings and the crust was nice and light.

I stopped for a quick bite. If the butter chicken is indicative of the rest of the varied menu you can't go wrong. Staff are very pleasant. I recommend it.

I've only had the basic cheeseburger, which was good, but the bun was a bit too big for my liking. There was pizza by the slice available in the display and it looked loaded with toppings. The place itself is worth stopping by as it has a great retro feel and has a couple of arcade games and the booths are just so classic. I'll go again and try something else.

Good food and service in an old fashioner diner style. Milk shakes, pizza, burgers all good and they deliver! Best pizza in town.

Wow, what an incredible little dinner, a true gem in Lake Cowichan! From the retro decor (I hear its a former Subway that still retains the old "Subway charm") to the attached vintage rail car, this unassuming little dinner has so much to offer! The food is exceptional, including burgers, pizzas, wraps, milkshakes, and much more. Having an option for pizza delivery and takeout in LC is fantastic. Keep it up J
