Kelly’s Lake House Grill - Lake City

Totally disappointing. Nothing we ordered met minimal expectations. Small portions. Nachos lacked toppings. Nashville chicken was a tiny processed dry patty. Burger was ok. Slow service and waste of time and money.

Great place to watch the Twins, Vikings, Gophers, and Wild. Lake City is a border city, so expect some flak from Brewers, Packers, and Badgers fans from the eastern side of the river .....all in good fun.

The food was great. The server did a fantastic job too. Loved this place. The view is really nice too.

We stopped by this restaurant for drinks in the morning and returned for dinner later in the day. The food was excellent and the service was top-notch. We really appreciated the beautiful view of the water.

Unfortunately, the service was consistently slow during our visit. We were seated at a small high top table that quickly became crowded with dirty dishes and platters that were not cleared away promptly. Additionally, my husband was seated near a stack of signed receipts from previous customers that were not removed until towards the end of our meal. Despite the service issues, the food at Kelly's was delicious. We started with cheese curds and enjoyed our drinks - my husband had a beer and I had a cider. For our main dishes, I ordered the margherita flatbread while my husband tried the Barge, their all-meat pizza. Both dishes were excellent, although my husband had difficulty taking his leftover pizza home as it was placed in a standard styrofoam box, causing the bottom layer to become soggy. Overall, we would consider returning to Kelly's due to the delicious food and pleasant atmosphere, but we hope that they can improve their service efficiency in the future.
