Maui Tacos Napili, Hi - Lahaina

Good Taco shop. It is a great place to go for a relatively cheap meal in Maui compared to the resort restaurants. Unlike most Maui restaurants, Maui Tacos had no waiting time for a table. You order at the counter and then sit or take your order to go. The guy at the counter was nice, but something seemed overwhelmed. They have a large bar area, but it was empty and underused. Looks like they could add some TVs and a bartender and mood lighting and double their business. My margarita was tall and tasted good. My tacos were good. They give you “chips” but only a handful on the plate along with your entree. Not sure why they do not offer a bowl of chips to enjoy while your food is made. This is how it goes in California, other Mexican restaurants in Hawaii and the USA. They have advertised a salsa bar with about 6 salsas, but only 3 were available. All Salsas are currently in very small plastic cups.

The first time at this point of Maui Taco's, and it didn't disappoint! (Been to the location in Kihei a few years ago). The food was excellent, and there was a lot of it. Besides, they have a happy hour, with discounts (and they are strictly on time). Even if you follow Maui Taco on Instagram, you will get free chips and salsa! Many dishes with fresh ingredients, check out the menu online! You can also drink here, ie beer. If you are hungry for a Taco or Burrito, this is the place to go, FULL STOP!

Fast service, maintain Covid distancing. Food came pretty fast, tasty and hot. If we had more time. Holiday, would definitely go back. I'm not a fan of beans, they were kind enough to pick me up as the food is freshened.

Stopped in as we had originally tried to get some sushi takeout, but that didn't happen. Food was decent, nothing earth shattering. I had the fish tacos, they were ok, not great. Daughter had pork tacos, she really liked them. Churro was good. It's a decent place for takeout.
