Located in the Westin. $21 for an green tea iced tea, Caramel Macchiato (my husband insists it is the breakfast of champions) a cup of cereal and fruit. Honey for the iced tea is a blob in the bottom of the cup. 5 minute walk to Starbucks down the beach.
I did manage to take time to stop here for a meal with my wife, although the line to be seated is very long. The food is fair and the coffee palatable. If you 're lucky, you 'll be on an outside view seat and we weren 't. Service is a little slow and the prices are a bit high. Here 's the trick: Pay for your stay at the Westin Resort with your Visa Black Card and receive complimentary breakfast daily. I didn 't know this and was saddened to learn this only when I returned home. It 's about the only place to dine here that 's open in the mornings, aside from the way overpriced coffee stand just up from the restaurant and next to the restrooms and Concierge. I think this is a good bargain if you can get it comped with your stay. We 're Gold VIP members of the SPG Program and were not offered this comp. Only my Black Visa Card, to my knowledge, offered this treat. Shop around and use your card 's travel services. Use them all and select the best deal. There are comps, you just need to shop around to find them. Back to the restaurant... it 's acceptable if you 're hungry and don 't want to wait until you get to Lahaina. Personally, we tried this once and forgot to Yelp! check-in, so don 't forget as I did... with only a few reviews here, you should check-in and review to provide more information for the guests at the Westin Resort on Maui. If you find this review of some use, please select a button below so both I and the Westin know you found it of use. Mahalo nui loa ~Joey
Just outside of the Starbucks booth, they lure you in for cinnabuns and bananas and then get you with all the extras. $5 for a roll is ok. Or go offsite and raid them for cutlery, napkins, or use their microwave.
Surprised yelp doesn't have this Westin Resort Cafe listed so I added it. Booked thru Costco Travel and got a $30 a day breakfast and morning coffee credit. We enjoyed the friendly service of our morning coffee lady, who was efficient and kind. We found ourselves ordering quiche almost every day, and the house coffee was excellent. The food prices were reasonable, but the coffee prices were on the higher side, which is typical for a hotel like the Westin. There's nothing quite like watching the sunrise, relaxing by the waterfalls and koi pond, while enjoying our morning coffee.
