Towneplace Suites Lafayette

I was lied to when I was told I would be getting deposit within seven days! I'm tired of being lied to! Dirty rooms dirty staff horrible prices!

On a business trip and this was the only hotel I could find. This is NOT where you want to be if you're a business traveler lots of kids and partying 20 somethings. The room was not clean fingerprints on mirrors, cereal under the table, sticky sh all over the chair. I am not a breakfast eater but I do rely on a steady supply of coffee. There was a single coffee carafe for the solid booked hotel. There was ZERO coffee the first morning at 7 am. I had to go to the nearby Starbucks. On the 2nd morning, I was able to get a full cup of coffee at 7:45 but there was none left when I went back at 9:00.

Rude staff! Rooms not cleaned daily. Have to beg for clean towels. Rooms are in sub par condition similar to the staff. Not sure if the staff is educated in customer care or they simply don't care. With this location it's difficult to know which it is. I stay at numeous Marriott hotels monthly. This is the Worst Marriott location I have ever see. If i couldrate them honestlyit would be negative 4.

We picked the place specifically for the indoor pool and hot tub but they were both out of service and had been for months, but still advertised. Bathtub faucet dripped. Seemed a bit dirty here and there. But manager was friendly, bed pretty comfortable.

Clean and not too expensive; the suite we got was fine for our party of 3, although the one of us that slept on the pullout sofa said that it wasn't very comfortable. Service was fine. The only thing that I really had a problem with was the breakfast most of the items were fine and to be expected, but I really prefer fruit juice to Pepsi for breakfast. It's pretty rare IME for a free breakfast to lack juice, but not a big deal.
