Thieme And Wagner Brewery - Lafayette

Small brewery with a lot of history. Enjoyed every beer I tried on tap, and they have a few guest beers. Bartender was on top of things and he always made sure are pretzel glass was full. A lot of historical local things all over the walls. Really neat to go in, have a drink, and learn a little local history.

Menu is much more limited here than many other breweries in town. However, they have the best beer in town. They know what they are good at and the focus on it. They don't dilute with a fancy menu or gimmicks. Great beer and a little food. It works.The cool history spread on the walls of Lafayette and Thieme Wagner's place in mid-West brewing is a bonus. Take the time to grab a beer and learn a little about history. You won't regret it.

Cool, little spot in the center of downtown! Lots of neat memorabilia and fantastic beer and food! The bartender has one of the most elite mullets I've seen, in my lifetime! Well worth a visit!

Large beers available. The owner's dog will play ball with you.

Nice and lovely spot. I tried their lager beers. All were tasting good. Conversation with the bartender was welcoming and sincere. We forgot our water bottle there and the other they I stopped by and picked it up with no problem.Will I visit there once again? Yes definitely.
