The Downtowner - Lafayette

This place was buzzing when we walked in which made a great atmosphere. We were served promptly and ordered the French Toast and Monte Christo. I didn't really understand the cinnamon cheese ham combo with the Monte Christo but it was still good I would definitely order something else if I was to come back though. The quality of the food was great and service was really nice. Now I want pancakes

Had breakfast twice at this local hangout. Good portions and pretty standard American breakfast fare. The mall it is in makes it very difficult to find this restaurant.

My wife and I sat down for a wonderful breakfast. The atmosphere was quiet and family friendly. Our hostess was polite and provided excellent customer service. Our food was served in a timely fashion and exactly as ordered. I would recommend this restaurant to any young couple or family and will definitely return

We were traveling through Indiana and ventured off the freeway for breakfast. The place was soooo worth it. Great home cooked food, great service and lower prices that the chains on the freeway. Did I mention how good the food was?

Easily the best breakfast place in Lafayette. The service is fantastic, the food is delicious, and Molly knows how to make everyone smile. I have been there many times now and have passed on my recommendation to family members to eat there as well. I like to consider the downtowner the hidden gem of Lafayette.
