Sonic Drive-in - Lafayette

Really good trip with a great of great options to eat and drink wise. I had boneless chicken wings and a shake that were both excellent. the only problem I had was how long it took to get service. but wait was worth it!

We have some car driving restaurants here in lafayette. my favorite is sonic by the way. the chili customers are wonderful!? and their drink selection is huge! most importantly, they get a good value for their money. the people who take the orders are all friendly and professional. their order is also fast. on a hot summer day, it's hard to beat their lime sludge!

Eating is most of the time good. had a bad experience with online ordering. it took the money from our account three times for the order that I tried to place, although the app said rejected payment. we called the load, they couldn't help us. we retired to get the money back, but never got our meal in the night of sonic, as they had not received our order by the app they said.

My personal opinion is that sonic has a lot to eat. love the wobble rings and I still give them 5 stars a good rating. However, today we have ordered their app to have it ready when we are there. as I usually do, I order the tweeper rings to go with my cheeseburger. we have placed our order, arrived there, the code button pressed to let them know in which slot we were and 2 minutes later our food was released. but no wobble rings because they were out. this is not about food shortages, supply chains or workers or employment. it is the fact that nothing on the app reported to us that they were out, no text messages, nothing. the girl just gave us a bag and our drinks and wanted to let us go. thanks to mcdonald’s, my wife in the sack to check the order, a noticed no wobble rings, told the girl, and she went in to get her. the manager came out and told us they had no one and could refund us the price or replace something else. I said pommes. it took 5 minutes to get them and they were almost cold and while not positiw, gave us at a uniform trade, although the ff were $0.80 less. there should be a certain way through the app to inform us about this type of situation, so we can adjust our order before we get there. I can't use the app again. all places have occasional problems and we will definitely eat again at sonic as after 50 visit, this is the first problem we had and it is actually all about the app. it needs a big update.

Pretty good place. My burger was delicious and full. The pretzel was amazing. Salty, hot, and fresh. I wish the tots had a little more seasoning to them, but they were warm and well cooked. I always have a good experience with the employees here as well. Definitely a good place to check out. They always offer quick service, and offer breakfast and lunch all day every day. You can get a coney dog for breakfast and French toast sticks for dinner!
