Pete's Diner - Lafayette

Before we go to the family, we decided to take another route so that we stopped at the social southern table bar for lunch. the staff was friendly, the atmosphere was super and relaxing, and the eating was great. if they are ever in lafayette, they stop from social southern tb. it is a great place for couples, family, friends or coworkers to hang and dine together. for those who like to have a drink during eating, they have a great choice of weeping, beer, whiskys, various bourbon, and beer, as well as mixed drinks. they will not go wrong to stop to be a friendly atmosphere to be social.

Still in the restaurant as I write! not from here! play baseball this weekend! we took care of this place, so we came on Saturday at 5 to finish the weekend! I must meet the biscuits with honey and fried green tomatoes! the best I've ever eaten! service was so fast and atmosphere is friendly and so cool! very welcoming! will come back!

I had a great experience at this restaurant! It was my birthday party with a group of 10. The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious. My only complaint is that the alcoholic drinks were a bit weak. For the price we paid, I expected stronger drinks. Despite that, I had a good time and would recommend this restaurant in the future.

The food and service at the restaurant were excellent. As a vegetarian, I was pleased to have several options to choose from. The Brussels sprouts were tender and fresh, and the grits were creamy with a delicious earthy flavor. The atmosphere was pleasant, with well-spaced tables. The only downside was the takeaway meal we ordered. I had ordered the smoked chicken to take home for someone who couldn't join us, but unfortunately it was burned and dry. The pieces were more like jerky than proper chicken, which was disappointing.

From the feeling when you walk in to the entire ambiance of the restaurant, to the way they pair their dishes! Everything was 5 stars! Compliments to the chef and Jason for providing phenomenal customer service. Ill be back for me yellow fin and fried green onions for sure! FYI, try the brisket too!
