The Village House - La Pêche

The food and service at this restaurant are exceptional. I rarely give restaurants a perfect 5-star rating, but this one definitely deserves it. The interior is cozy, but they also have a patio for enjoying the nice weather.

The food at this restaurant is good, but the prices are outrageously high. The owner's smiles seem fake, but the rest of the staff is genuinely pleasant. The patio is loud and located right next to the road.

The incredible flavors come from a wide variety of vegetable and meat combinations. I highly recommend it...

Always such a delight! Such a fantastic setting with an amazing ambience in the lovely village of Wakefield. We love sitting at the little bar area where we can watch the magic happen in the kitchen. The service is always top notch and the staff go out of their way to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is superb with each dish has a wonderful combination of flavours. The presentation is always excellent on top of being savoury. The place is simply the best…it will have you wanting to come back for more as soon as you leave. We just went last night and we can’t wait to go back again.

This place was a bit of a puzzle. The food was exceptional but the decor did not match it. All the elements are there but an atmospheric change would do wonders to upgrade the whole dining experience.
