I like being able to go somewhere for a coffee without the expectation that you will have to buy food as well. The coffee is excellent and the real focus of this cafe. The upstairs is quiet and cozy and the garden is superb. Both great places to relax.
Here's a refreshing place at variance with the 'cafe' that is just a pretence for exorbitant price, minimal service, and floor-space lost to 'artisan' products at hugely inflated prices. This little oasis (just down the street from an overrated destination) is the real deal. While it does stock some mandatory gluten-free snackfare, it doesn't let that give it the usual excuse for gouging. Plus, the owner is on hand, and happy to discuss what's on the musical playlist .. so UNLIKE 99 per cent of cafes around the region. AND there's a fine old porch to keep out of the rain or snow and put your feet up. I'd pay a tip just to have a nap out there, maybe with dog. Cats? They can keep them up the street.
A sweet coffee house filled with local art and photography. Don't forget to check out the cozy upstairs section!
I love this quaint and friendly place! Excellent soup, sandwiches Moca Mint coffee and desserts. Great service and location after going for an outdoor hike!
