Pietros Cucina Italiana Pizza - La Mesa

I recently moved to the area and discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant. It may be tucked away in a strip mall, but the food is absolutely delicious. We ordered the gnocchi with the special Pietro sauce and it was incredibly tasty. We also tried the lasagna and pizza, both of which were fabulous. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Pietro, and our server, Luciano, who were both incredibly kind. It's amazing to hear that they have been in business for 42 years. We have definitely found our new favorite Italian spot!

I love this restaurant! I have ordered takeout from here multiple times in the past, but I wish they offered delivery as well. I visited for dining in for the first time, just for a casual Friday night dinner. I was not disappointed. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was lively but not too loud. The food was delicious, especially the portobello mushroom ravioli from the specials menu. The staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return.

Pietro serves incredibly delicious food. The baked rigatoni is a standout dish. Sabina is genuinely the best server I've ever encountered - she is both funny and attentive, making the dining experience truly engaging.

We love Pietro's Cucina Italiana, starting off with Pietro he's a very pleasant, kind man and takes the time to uniquely greet his customers. The Food is amazing. The pizza is so delicious we love the crust. The food is fresh, just the right temperature and served to perfection. Such a pleasant atmosphere. Great dinner and fantastic service! Random spot in the corner of a strip mall but has that homemade Italian feel to it the moment you step in. The pastas are better than the pizza but it?s all great. We even had allergy related questions regarding the menu and Pietro himself clarified things for us very helpful.
