Had the Rigitoni Bolognese and filled mushrooms and it was delicious! I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place before I gave it many times that I had her food. Her Pesto Pizza is excellent and her Nonnos special sandwich is so delicious. It's a little operation, but they run it with a big heart. Lisa the server is an absolute treasure! I dare try.
A hidden jewel in La Mesa. A real culinary experience that feels like you're with the family. Don't hurry. Not loud. And really enjoyable! You can play Frank Sinatra and enjoy some of their great wines and homemade Italian dishes. The Alfredo is the BEST and the specials are unique and to order. Fresh and delicious! Be friendly and patient when you come here, because this is the mood. I'm so glad I found this place!
Great find. Small, long standing, unassuming, family owned Italian restaurant. Great service, excellent food, all freshly made in house. The place is small though with very few tables, so best to call ahead and reserve a table. By the way...I'm born and raised in Brooklyn. This is good Italian food!!!
