La Casa Blanca Mexican - La Mesa

This is not a taco shop, so we may have ordered the wrong type of food - rolled tacos and a burrito. I'm sure their non-taco menu is great, although I have never tried it. I ordered 5 rolled tacos with all the toppings, but they were not great and there was some bitter cheese, possibly cotija, that I did not enjoy. It needed more guacamole. My dad had rolled tacos with just cheese, and he thought they had a good flavor at first but it declined as he continued eating. My husband's carne asada burrito was made with a dense tortilla and contained lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, and carne asada. I did not enjoy the salsa either. I doubt I will return as they allowed for dine-in even though it is not permitted at the moment. I understand why they did it, but I do not support it when hospitals are nearing full capacity.

The staff at this restaurant is amazing. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is cozy. I celebrated my birthday here today and they were so friendly. They even gave me a free dessert, sang me a song, and put a sombrero on my head. It was a great experience!

The Mexican cuisine at this restaurant is incredible! They prepare the tortillas right in front of you and all of the dishes are delicious. The margaritas are large and delicious. The prices are fantastic and the service goes above and beyond. I absolutely adore this place and would recommend it 11/10.

Came here and got some tacos to go. We didn?t have enough money and he gave us the tacos $12 off. Great service, nice restaurant, and the best salsa on earth. Definitely will be coming back.

My dish was to have pork and potatoes,mine didn't have potatoes. The beans were dry like they had been warn up several times,tortillas were hard And crunchy. Will not go back!
