Lukas Bakery - La Grange

Mmm... these are by far the best pigs in a blanket I've ever had! The poppy seeds on top really add to the flavor. I had a rare moment to stop by this morning, and I'm so glad I took the opportunity to treat myself!

Always the best! The kolaches here are authentic, with plenty of sausage and fruit and not just dough. I still remember Mr. Lukas’ orange sponge cake; I’ve tried to replicate it but have never come close! I was also introduced to their delightful apple strudel here. Thank you, Lukas Bakery—you’re a friend for life!

Wonderful to see Lukas Bakery still going strong. A lot of childhood memories...

This small little bakery is awesome and always has the traditional type baked goods... ie old fashioned kolaches, pig in blankets with real sausage, cookies and much more.
