Back Porch Texas Bbq - La Grange

Cute place on the north side of the city. bbq was excellent not too smokey and very humid. service was fast and friendly. I am definitiw back.

The brisket at this restaurant is incredibly juicy and tender, the best I've ever tried! I ordered the brisket and sausage combo and left feeling very satisfied. My partner had the pulled pork and raved about how delicious it was. Despite the fact that the restaurant was not crowded, we still had to wait about 30 minutes after it opened. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating options. I highly recommend sitting at Katie's tables as she is friendly and attentive. There are TVs and great music playing, adding to the overall atmosphere. The staff is very pleasant and there is plenty of parking available, making it easy to find. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant when I am in the area, as we frequently travel from Austin to Sealy.

Honestly this was some great food. The fried pickles were a great start. I?m picky with my frickles but these were crunchy and tasty! We got the boss hog burger and the back porch sandwhich with fries and porch potatoes. Everything was tasty, food came out hot, waitress was nice and the tea was good! No complaints to be had. If you?re in the area looking for food...this is where you need to stop.

This was our first visit and I'm glad we decided to stop in. They had some fantastic BBQ dishes. The pork was already pulled when we arrived, so we'll need to come back to try it. The brisket was like heaven on a fork, and the buns were incredibly fresh. The sides we had, including the creamy coleslaw and salad, were out of this world. The service was quick and friendly, and the portions were huge for a great price. Overall, a nice, unexpected find with delicious food!

Family Friendly atmosphere with Inside Outside seating. Food to absolutely AMAZING! I haven't had anything that I didn't like it's not all BBQ. My husbands favorite is the Hamburgers and seasoned fries, while my youngest 2 children love the Chicken Tenders. I personally love the Porky Tacos. Great little Tex-Mex twist on BBQ. The loaded brisket baked potato is enough to feed 2 people. You can never go wrong with a Back Porch sandwich, my sons favorite, or the Brisket/Chicken Plate, which is my oldest daughters favorite. Overall great restaurant great service. *YOU MUST TRY THE FROZEN SANGRIA. You can thank me later.
