Ignored by the staff so we left before ordering. Grumpy staff and terrible decor . The town is struggling for decent restaurants apart from the Michelin starred one overlooking the canal.
Whilst on a 3 day stop off in La Fleche, my husband and myself wanted somewhere to go for a light lunch. After walking through the town, we spotted the menu board outside Fleur De Sel. They were offering a 3 course menu for €15. Although the menu was in French and the waitress did her best to translate the menu (and with the help of a British diner). We managed to order our food. There was a choice of 3 starters, 2 main and 3 desserts. My husband opted for the celery soup to start and i had the Roquefort cake. For main we both chose the Cous Cous served with Chicken and Chorizo sausage. Very different twist on what we would normally serve together but very nice. We ended up with lemon crumble. All in all very tasty and good value for money. Washed down with a nice bottle of white wine. The total bill was €47.00. we would definitely eat there again.
We had a 50year reunion with 20+ friends in this place. Very well organized, great service and good food. Good value
Our family stopped for lunch after sight-seeing on Wednesday afternoon.
