This neighborhood gem has the best coffee, smoothies, fresh juices, amazing savory dishes and most importantly really spacious and spotless. The service was quick, efficient and very friendly. Thank you for an awesome experience
We had an absolutely lovely time at Grange Road Egg Shop!<br/ <br/ Walking in, we were greeted by a friendly staff member who escorted us to our table. We had the Chicken Schnitzel, served with panko chicken thigh, condiments, pickled shallots and cucumber salad. We also had the Chives and Ricotta Gnocchi which came warm lamb ragu with tomatoes, local silverbeet, chilli and grana padano and finally, we had the “Feeling Green” which came with raw broccoli and kale, buckwheat, pistachios, green chilli, avocado, poached eggs, honey mustard dressing and smoked salmon. For drinks, we had two coffees.<br/ <br/ The food was incredible! The schnitzel was served cut up in strips which was unusual but the meat was cooked to perfection and the cucumber salad was a refreshing touch! The gnocchi was arguably our favourite dish! They were soft, fluffy and hot on the inside. The dish had a generous serving of grant padano which made the dish even more flavoursome. The “Feeling Green” was an awesome, all-round healthy dish accompanied by an exquisite serving of smoked salmon and well-cooked poached eggs. The coffee was great too! <br/ <br/ The decor of the café was beautiful having mirror splashbacks and marble tiles with plenty of greenery both inside and outside. Overall, we had nothing to complain about at The Grange Road Egg Shop and we cannot wait to return!
This is a cute venue with lots of options on the menu! I loved the breakfast greens and the dressing on the salad. It was great I could add grilled chicken too.<br/ <br/ The almond latte was smooth and had a vanilla vibe to it!<br/ <br/ I would happily return to try other options!
Will come back for:<br/ Matcha Ice Tea<br/ Fruit Pannacotta<br/ Eggs Benedict with ham<br/ Salmon with Eggs<br/ <br/ This place is all about great ingredients, cooked to perfection and simply. And there’s nothing wrong with that. All the eggs on the dishes were cooked perfectly and nicely spiced. And on a Sunday morning, it was buzzing with locals and for good reason. Loved the home made matcha ice tea that was fresh and strangely satisfying. The fruit pannacotta has loads of fresh fruits and textures and was delicious. The eggs benedict with ham was cooked perfectly and disappeared almost as soon as it arrived. And the same with the salmon with eggs dish. We also had the Japanese omelette which was good also. Service was friendly and warm, and prices reasonable for what you get. I’m not a local but it this was near my place I would be a regular.
What a fun cafe, with it's cute egg shaped furniture, pastel tones and lovely staff. Everyone seems to be having a good time and the place was packed on a weekday morning. <br/ <br/ Coffee is amazing, and I really loved their green juice. The fritters were bite sized morsels, deep fried and extremely tasty. The avocado and corn and tomato salsa was really refreshing and the poached eggs were perfectly cooked. <br/ <br/ As a fan of bircher muesli, I couldn't wait to try the version here. So deliciously creamy, and not too sweet. I loved the addition of fresh strawberries and syrup. <br/ <br/ Just off Toorak Road, Grange Road Egg Shop has everything that you need in an excellent cafe. A bustling and energetic ambience, cute decor and amazing food make this one of those cafes that you will want to return to tome and time again.
