Shuji Sushi - Kurunjang

Close to office space so convenient. I had been to three times now. Looks like inflation took a toll. Had chicken fried rice twice. First time noticed lack of meat. Today enquired about it to confirm. It seems they limit to 4 pieces. Asked them to reduce the rice. FWIW it neither feels Japanese nor Chinese. I love both cuisines. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$1–20

Took my order then I had to wait 40+ minutes for it to arrive. They didn’t tell me it would take that long. I won’t be eating there again. Food not that great.

Surprisingly it does have a vegetarian menu! I ordered the soba noodles and it was good. I have heard the non vegetarian is pretty good at this place.

Shuji Sushi has a corporate policy that doesn’t allow customers the option of tap water. They’re greedy and don’t care about people or our environment. Change your corporate policy- to not allow tap water to customers is immoral and environmentally unethical.

Fish seemed floppy and unappealing. 2 of 4 sushi rolls were falling apart before I’d picked them up.
