Sacred Fig - Kurunjang

Sacred Fig is by far the best Indian food in Clifton Hill. Great curries, nice and thick, breads have recently changed and are now larger and a little fluffier. Excellent quality and pricing. There is only 1 issue: delivery partners. Sadly Uber Eats can be next to useless and I have had 2 occasions where my meals were just cancelled by Uber an hour after ordering as delivery drivers are not being allocated. With this in mind I highly recommend phoning and picking up to ensure you get your meal hot and fresh. Collecting from the store also means the restaurant is not giving away 30% to a delivery partner. Support local business deal straight with the restaurant.

Extensive take away menu. Fantastic and authentic Indian cuisine, as I am assured by Indian born friends I have taken there. We are working our way through the menu, but have discovered a few favourites along the journey. Friendly and professional in-house service. Works as very high calibre comfort food, too!

Delicious! We got takeaway and every dish was lovely and reasonably priced. Would definitely get it again!

Food is just GREAT! If you are looking for amazing, fresh, tasty food then you must visit this place. Staff super friendly too!

I’m a local and keep coming back to this place. Don’t be put off if the place is quiet. The food is always superb.
