They changed the packaging which I liked because you wouldn’t have to go digging all the way under like in their old cylinder bowl.<br/ <br/ The food still tastes the same, I felt like they gave less chicken then the previous time I was here, might be a psychological thing since it was a different packaging. However, the meal was very satisfying and the meat was definitely enough. I love the chili which isn’t too spicy, perfect for a guy like me who can’t take the heat The fried chicken was however slightly dry.<br/ <br/ I’m glad they made it such that the drink combo can go with any main meal. Last time it was only for like Nasi Lemak which means I wouldn’t be able to get a cheaper drink with my usual Nasi Goreng.
Papparich fried chicken sandwichThis is not ur ordinary sandwich ... SO YUMMY so crispy so juicy so oily (so fat but yum). Chicken is on point, perfect amount of spice, fresh slaw (a bit too much onion in my opinion) but so delishhhh $13.90 but this sandwich is actually so filling I think I’m gonna eat another one soon. Haven’t tried the other menu items here but I highly recommend this fried chicken sandwich.
Trying to organise a lunch via Uber Eats for a team of people today but I was confronted with unexpected errors, so I contacted the shop directly in desperation, the store manager and one of her team members, Manu, saved the day by taking upon themselves to organise the food and going out of their way to deliver the order! Such a display of empathy and responsiveness and the outstanding service was greatly appreciated by all. Hope the team at Papparich continues to set their business apart with exceptional service and great food!!
Usually not a bad experience here and have tried most of the variety on the menu. Can fall on the pricier side so only tend to come when I feel like treating myself but usually pretty good stuff. Can be a bit stingy with meats though but overall enjoy the food.
For all the people out there who are missing some good Malaysian cuisine, PappaRich can be the right solution. Here in this campus, it has an express outlet for hungry university students.<br/ <br/ Food: During my visit, I tried its Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings on Rice (AUS$11.90) and Iced Teh Tarik (AUS$4.20). The chicken wings were crispy and tasted like they were fresh from the fryer. They are quite generous with the amount of wings given (6 wings in one portion). I liked the wings very much as you could taste the seasonings and that with the hot rice was perfect on a windy day. The iced teh tarik was standard.<br/ <br/ Atmosphere: As the word 'express ' suggests, this branch comes in the form of a stand/kiosk. However, there are plenty of seating available outside.<br/ <br/ Service: It was good, the bowls were numbered so that we knew which order was whose, considering the bows were covered by lids when we picked them up (possibly to keep them warm). It took around 10 minutes for our orders to be ready.<br/ <br/ Price: To be honest, it is quite pricey considering the size of students ' pocket money. I think the appropriate price for the chicken wings is around AUS$8-9.
