Nene Chicken Box Hill - Kurunjang

For good ol’ Korean Fried Chicken, Nene Chicken does a very decent job. <br/ <br/ With the lockdown dragging on, having some expertly fried chicken for dinner was a sure fire way to help lift the mood. I ordered their half and half jumbo pack. The snowing cheese was savoury and delicious. But my all time favourite was their swicy chicken. The sticky sauce was sweet, salty and mildly spicy. My only gripe was that the salads came in such teeny tiny boxes. I could have done with a bit more coleslaw. <br/ <br/ Without a doubt, Nene Chicken turns me on!<br/ <br/ Previously:<br/ <br/ Nene chicken is always lovely and crispy. Lots of different flavours you can choose to add to the generous pieces of chicken. They have been diversifying their menu lately and I am looking forward to trying some of their new items. For great value for money, their lunch box has rice, salad, kimchi, mustard sauce and of course, chicken in a box.....everything you want for a quick and satisfying lunch!

When it comes to fried chicken, you know Nene has got you sorted. <br/ <br/ I really enjoyed their fried chicken, the batter was light and nice and the flavours were good. Dont forget to order the green tea soft serve for dessert, love a good soft serve after a meal

This subway is in a food court but it’s not very busy. They have efficient service, and they have a wide range of sandwich fillings and breads available. The food is fairly cheap, with 12 dollars for a sandwich that is very filling, and 6 dollars for a smaller one. I would rate my meal at a 7/10. It’s very fresh and tasty, although the fillings fall out sometimes.
