The chicken was so tender and the dish was perfectly spiced and there was a generous amount of papaya.<br/ <br/ The breakfast greens were amazing. We added halloumi that was soft and delicious. The beetroot hummus was earthy and thick I loved this flavour combination.<br/ <br/ The staff were very friendly and super attentive! <br/ <br/ I want to go again!
This restaurant is great for large groups and small catch up. This spacious yet cosy restaurant is a hidden gem in Camberwell. Serving the most beautifully plated food. <br/ <br/ We had...<br/ <br/ Cherry Ripe Panna Cotta One of the most stunning panna cotta dishes i have seen in melbourne in a while. It was vegan friendly. <br/ <br/ Okonomiyaki The perfect breakfast pancake with fresh vegetables and tasty sauce. <br/ <br/ Salmon Fillet THE BEST! The salmon was cooked perfectly and plated up perfectly. With a cute cubes of rosti and salad. <br/ <br/ Looking forward to visiting again!
Miss Frank is a beautiful cafe located just off the main road in Camberwell. The facade is simple and minimalistic, with only a small red neon sign written ‘Miss Frank’ above the doorway.<br/ <br/ We entered inside, and I was amazed by how spacious the venue was. Split into two parts, they have a front area facing the large windows and a back area for a more cosy experience. We were seated at the front bench, by the window, and what a delight it was to see so many cute dogs pass by!<br/ <br/ For food, we opted for their famous Cherry Ripe Pannacotta, Salmon Fillet, and the Papaya Salad. <br/ <br/ I really loved the panna cotta! The texture was perfect creamy but light, and very very jiggly! The combination of dark chocolate granola added a nice crunchy element to go with the creamy panna, and the sour cherry coulis gave tartness to balance out the sweetness. A panna done well!<br/ <br/ The salmon was as beautiful as the panna cotta! Literally a work of art, with dots of the vibrant green pea purée and the purple beetroot spread across the canvas. The salmon was cooked perfectly very tender, fall apart, and crispy skin too. And the rosti was amazing! <br/ <br/ The papaya salad was a very unique dish on a brunch menu, but we were very pleased with it. It was a very light and refreshing dish, and the dressing wasn’t too overpowering. I would recommend adding the chicken to make it more filling if you’re having it as your individual dish!<br/ <br/ Overall, we had an awesome time at Miss Frank. The staff were all incredibly friendly and we were very well taken care of.<br/ <br/ Highly recommend checking them out!
Miss Frank makes it very hard for a sweet tooth to decide what to order. Scan through their menu and there's enough sweet dishes to make me have a mild panic attack due to fear of missing out.<br/ <br/ So what to do? Make it a dessert brunch. My friend and I settled on the Banana Brulee Porridge, Cookies and Cream Waffles, and Cherry Ripe Panna Cotta. Hello sugar high!<br/ <br/ Don't make me choose my favourite because all three were amazing. The Banana Brulee Porridge had the magic ingredient peanut butter, giving it a slight saltiness and nuttiness to balance out the sweetness of the dish. A quintessential comfort dish, one with beautiful flavours and textures.<br/ <br/ The Cookies and Cream Waffles, on the other hand, was surprisingly delicate, but this is no way means that you are not faced with an explosion of flavours. It wasn't overly heavy thanks to the light as air chocolate buttercream, and just the perfect hint of richness from the chocolate sauce.<br/ <br/ The dish that I have been eyeing before I even came here, the Cherry Ripe Panna Cotta, did not let me down. Wobbly and silky smooth, the panna cotta was a dream to eat. The abundance of chocolate granola and coconut flakes made this a textural delight, and the fresh fruits convinced me that this was a healthy dish.<br/ <br/ In line with adding fruits to our diet, we completed our meal with smoothies the Green smoothie and the Mango, Turmeric and Honey smoothie. Thick and creamy, and so refreshing.<br/ <br/ I'm now convinced that it's perfectly acceptable to solely order sweet dishes for breakfast and thank you to Miss Frank for showing me how it should be done.
The highlight of the dish was the potato rosti which was cooked with strands of potato encased in a crispy coating. The mushroom was also juicy and well seasoned, bacon is a bit of the ordinary side. SALMON FILLET $22 POACHED EGG $2. The dish included pea puree, beetroot, potato rosti and a piece of brioche coated with sesame. The variety of sides really enhanced the experience of a standard salmon dish. The salmon was not seasoned relying on it's natural flavour, and the skin was nice and crispy.
