Bah kut teh soup is very tasty, and for the fish head noodle soup, the fish head is deep fried very well done and tasty but the noodle soup is just ok. kids love the sweet and sour pork and BBQ pork dry noodle. Lobak and ice milk tea are just average.
Great Malaysian style dishes with generous portions, recommend the yam basket, marmite pork ribs, fried calamari and sambal kangkong, and assorted stuffed tofu dish.
Plenty of off street parking is always a bonus. Similar menu to Ampang Tofu in Doncaster. However. I felt the serving size is a bit smaller than Doncaster. Service was quick and sufficient. I had seafood laksa which was delicious. Quite a few prawns. Other dishes were at same standard as Ampang Tofu too. For bigger group this one is more suitable because it’s a lot more spacious.
A few visits later ... in general 7/10 (I'm being generous with 4 star rating) ... an expansion of the famous Ampang Tofu in Doncaster ... menu is more or less the same Malaysian Chinese favourites ... obviously with different chef and team in the kitchen ... bigger venue, spacious, easier to get a table, same level of service, importantly more parking spaces ... food wise between 6-8 out of 10 ... 8-9/10 value for money. Enjoyed the food here, it suits our tastes. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Terrific value for money. The Lobok was the best I have ever had. Excellent value for money. We will definitely return
