Tumi Hostel - Kumasi

This is by far the best hostel we came across our journey through Ghana. The beautiful garden is the perfect place to relax from the hectic of the city, the rooms are cozy and clean and the stuff is so friendly and helpful! They serve a delicious breakfast with eggmuffin, bananapancake and selfmade bread that is included in the price, which, in addition, is very reasonable. In the evening you can join the hostel dinner with the daily local dish. Since the hostel is part of a the tumi women empowerment project, it us run mostly by women and you can buy beautiful selfmade crafts and cloths in the hostel. Definitely the best place to stay in Kumasi!

Very nice hostel. The hostel just opened when I stayed here. The staff was very friendly and made me feel at home straight away. The rooms are big and clean with the best matrass in Ghana. The breakfast was awesome, freshly baked bread, smoothies and everything. The hostel is an absolute recommendation.

Amazing little hostel, quite centrally located in Kumasi. All earnings go to their women empowerment project... Everything is very tastefully decorated and they sell a lot of handsewn items. The whole place is also very clean and well maintained! Food is served on site, with many vegetarian options available. Our room was very clean and spacious. Fantastic place to stay. The women who work there were just so friendly and helpful. The communal breakfast was a nice opportunity to meet people. The place just felt so friendly. You can walk to kumasi mall from there and they had a lovely shop in the hostel itself selling goods made by the women involved in the Women's Empowerment project. You can meet some of the caftswomen and visit the sewing workshop if you wish
