The chicken used to be larger. The taste is still good, but it feels like they are overcharging. Furthermore, they now only accept card and online payments, so do not bother bringing cash here.
This was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant! Guests were waiting outside with no one serving them. When we walked in and were seated, no one told us that we needed to scan and order. After we placed our order, there was no clear message indicating that we needed to pay first to confirm it. We ended up wasting time sitting there. The female staff had the worst attitude I've ever encountered, both the server and the cook. After waiting 40 minutes, I still hadn't been served my drink. When I went to the counter to inquire about it, the lady staff responded rudely, saying that if I wanted a refund, they had no problem with it in a threatening tone. Absolutely the worst!
My first visit to Nando's led me to this particular location. Situated in a mall, the atmosphere was pleasant. The music and decorations added to the charm. However, the warm welcome and friendly smile that Nando's promotes in its commercials were missing. The staff was efficient and professional, but not overly engaging or friendly. The food presentation was lackluster and unoriginal. The main dishes were cooked well in terms of temperature and texture, but the sides were average. The portion sizes were adequate for the price, but not particularly generous. The quality and taste of the food were acceptable. The chicken was juicy and tender, although on the smaller side. Surprisingly, the boneless version still had bones. Overall, it was not a disappointing experience, but the theme and decor were the only aspects that distinguished this chain from other chicken restaurants. Based on my preference for quality food and service, I would probably not return, but might consider ordering in instead.
Cosy atmosphere, friendly waiting staff and food was good. Portions were appropriate for price and food was delicious. In the top-lunch hour, was sitting immediately and orders quickly taken. I always appreciate employees who take note of and deliver special requests. So the waiting staff, kudos!
For two reasons, I always choose Nando's Avenue K over Nando's KLCC: First, fewer people. For some reason, there is always a queue at Suria KLCC. Second, its more spacious, with a higher ceiling. Definitely makes for comfortable food. Other than that, its typical Nando output with unique decoration, and consistent taste. Look at their new plates with a paint sprayer.
