Good lunch deals with salad and soup bar which included prosciutto wrapped garlic toasties, ham and cheese wrapped in zucchini amongst others. The pasta was good. Papardelle with spicy pork sausage tomato sauce. Also had the pork chop which was crispy yet not dried out. Served with properrrrr steak cut fries. Definitely would go again.
The pizza is good here. They have happy hour for beer from 3om to 8pm. Wednesday is ladies nights, ladies can get a free glass of wine when u order main dish.
Best value for daily Italian food in the area. I eat here on average 4 times a week and the food is very good. Fresh, unfussy, reasonably priced, and quick service. They have some very fine dishes, including one of the best pestos in KL. I actually like this spot more than their more upscale restaurant just up the road towards KLCC. The thing I like most about Trattoria is consistency. Dishes are executed the same each time you eat there and you don't have some young kid trying to innovate all the time. Thanks to the owners and head chef for keeping a close eye on the food it makes a real difference. I've taken quite a few people here and they've all been shocked at the low price when the bill arrives.
The food was so so. Ordered Fried Calamari, salad with grill brinjal and ham, 4 cheese pizza, spaghetti aglio olio, and baked pork ribs. Only the Fried Calamari tasted OK. Aglio Olio lacks taste and flavour, it feels like the chef does not have passion in cooking.
