Having never heard of doosas before we decided to try four of them. They were extremely tasty and came with great dips and vegetables. We also tried the lentil doughnuts which wer excellent. The guy serving us was really friendly. The restaurant itself doesn't look that enticing but don't let that fool you, the food here is really good. I think the best thing about this vegetarian restaurant is that it clearly indicates which dishes are vegan and which are not. Updated from previous review on 2022-07-26
This restaurant is located close to Masjid Jamek station and it looks very unassuming, but the food is worth it! When we entered we were greeted very friendly. The waiter did not speak a lot of English, but it wasn‘t a problem at all because the vegan dishes are clearly marked on the menu. And there are so many of them! My husband chose the vegetable rice while I had the Aloo Gobi Masala. We also got rice and naan and small bowls of pakora. The wait was quite long which was not nice because it was very hot in the restaurant, but the food was truly delicious! In addition, it is not expensive, either. Got the Mini Tiffin for RM 11 for breakfast. Filling and only thing non-vegan was the coffee with milk
The vegan dishes are marked on the menu with a picture of little green leaf. There are a lot of options to choose from. I had Woodland's Special Rava Dosa(11MYR) that had veggie masala and cashews. It came with 4 different sauces and was massive. Half of it would have been enough for me. There are cheaper dosas on the menu but I wanted to try something different. I think the plain rava dosa was only 3,5MYR.
