I have visited this restaurant several times in the last 5 years. there is so much to tell about this place that I almost don't know where to start. first of all this restaurant is open from 24 March to 23 October. along the mosel it is normal that many restaurants, pubs etc. are closed when the tourist season is over. the owners of the restaurant also have a party service that is open all year round. the managerin this beautiful place is catthrin and she makes a great job. the staff is more and more friendly and they take time for their rest. from all places where I have eaten, this is probably one of the cleanest. everything they see touch is fresh and clean. even the toilets are immaculate! the restaurant is located on a corner of a small road that leads it to a camping site and to the wine mountains of wolf. wolf is the name of the small town where this restaurant is located. that is important to know, because in the internet you sometimes see trarbach as a location for this restaurant. but trarbach is the place part of which the small town wolf belongs. the restaurant has a beautiful terrace with great views over the mosel. the menu contains many small details of products that are homemade by the chef in this restaurant, such as homemade potato walnut bread. besides great meat, there are homemade flaky cakes (d layers like meat, cheese, sweet (it is less fat and much more tasty than a pizza) and fish there are also great vegetarian eating the wonderful, always helpful staff together with the time and money that these people use to keep the whole place in perfect and more than clean to make the most of this. I will visit this restaurant tonight, the 24th juni, this time again with 4 people (my wife and two friends who also come from the lowlands) and while I write this review, I am already looking forward to my visit.
Unbelievable! I've been to a lot of restaurants, but I've never been served by such a great staff! You noticed how much fun this has at his job. Even the food was very good. I felt comfortable all around!
We were in Kröv for the first time. Short Resümee: Unfortunately, we had to find that some restaurants in the village have closed even 2 days a week or unfortunately only 2 dishes per day are on the menu. Either the hostes don't need it or don't want it. Because Kröv had plenty of guests. But we were compensated in the Roman cellar. After our first evening there we reserved for the next 4 evenings there. The menu despite Corona has something to offer for every taste. What we ate was so tasty and also visually great served. The boss received one with a kindness... you felt right away. The staff joined with such kindness. The distance control and hygiene were well organized. We felt so comfortable and thank everyone again in this way. You are a great troupe and you have understood how to get the guests in this time for an evening. Keep going. We will definitely come back. Stay healthy.
Very nice and attentive staff. Locality is very rustic and original. The food super, not a long wait. Unfortunately, it was very cold, so you could not stay long. That's a shame. In the summer we'll probably go to dinner again.
