Classic Cretan taverna with very tasteful dishes and great menu, I suggest to try the lamb with potatoes, amazing!! Very nice also the place. If you're in this area you have to make a stop!

We were planning to go from Chania to Elafonissi. Our friend has suggested us this place to stop by and to taste traditional local food. We have tried rabbit in the oven, boureki, and stuffed zuccini flowers and wine leaves -dolmadakia-. They also have local beer which is superb. The food tasted amazing. It was the first ever rabbit I have ever tasted and definetly worth the shot. Simply glorious traditional Cretan cuisine. Worth the drive from Paleochora.

Very good quality of food. A lot of traditional cretan dishes. You should also check what is available for the day. Tsigariasto(τσιγαριαστό — tsi — ga — ri — a — sto and kolokithanthoi(κολοκυθανθοί is a must have. The service is excellent. All the ingredients are local and most are home grown by the owner himself.
