Ταβέρνα Ρόδος

I stopped in for a glass of wine and appetizer on a whim — I was hungry and needed something to tide me over until dinner. I'm so glad I did! I was invited into the spotless kitchen to choose what I wanted to try — all made fresh that day, with ingredients from the owner's garden. For 11 euro, I got a full small plate, small salad, bread, glass of wine, bottle of water… and was treated to raki and dessert on the house. Will go back for a full meal while I am in the area!

Good food and wine at a fantastic price! Unfortunatly we got only one dinner to taste some of the traditional greek cousine, this taverna is very good! the owner of the taverna is very kindly and he said that he change the menu every day, taste different dishes is great. Many thanks from Italy

Best Cretan food we had so far! Proudly run by chef Vasilios and Aristea. They cook something different every day and will show you what they'll serve you from their kitchen. We enjoyed it very much!

Superb Cretan food served in the most hospitable place! You'd be welcomed like a dear friend or a close family member. Very reasonable prices. Fantastic view of the seaside. Wish we had all our dinners there! Thank you Vassilius and Aristea!

Vassillios and his wife are wonderful hosts and wonderful cooks. The food is always delicious and little extras are often given without charge. Typical, generous Cretan cooking. When you get shown the kitchen choose something from all the dishes on offer. A lovely, enjoyable dining experience
