Spreewald Therme GmbH

This is a very large restaurant, so it can be somewhat less pleasant when crowded, but they open quite late and at 9PM we were almost the only customers. The menu is quite classic with all standard offers and also includes a few more interesting dishes. It was (local) asparagus time when we visited and they (like all restaurants around) offer a nice choice. No serious gastronomy, but good dishes served very efficiently. No problem. Good wine offer,

The cook definitely has a good imagination, with seasonal products. If you eat in the bathing area, you can wait in the hot water. Sit outside is more cozy. On the bottom we had to spend a little longer for the food.

It is always a pleasure to eat at the Spreewald Therme. As the name tells you, it is the restaurant of the baths of castle. So you don't expect a cozy atmosphere. It will be nice, but it will remain in the entrance. That was the only real criticism. Now to the really positive points. It is healthy and tasty, the prices are fair. The ingredients are around herbs and vegetables of the region and well prepared and well presented. You get a little more than expected... Actually, it is the definition of a great performance
