Summer in Germany means snakes outside almost every ice store, so it can be difficult to know whether the ice is worth selling. But if you are in castle and looking for the best ice in the city (or even in the region? , do not leave the (fast-moving queue deter you. This is the place to be. In addition to all the regular flavors, it also offers regional specialties such as linseed oil (delicious beyond words and cucumber (pretty strange, but also somehow not bad), as well as the German classic spaghetti ice cream (too sweet for me . 100% delicious!
Beautiful ice cream parlour with homemade ice cream. What makes the difference to other ice cream shops here are the unusual varieties such as quark with linseed oil or cucumber ice cream with dill. We found it extremely delicious. The prices are absolutely fine for the quality and size of the ice balls.
During a last four-day stay in Burg, when the temperatures reached the high 20's, I had to try out all local ice cream shops and that was by far my favorite destination 'spot for some homemade organic ice cream. Although I'm not a big ice fan like my husband who seems to have the ice radar on the way, I admit that every day I made two trips to this place because I just couldn't get enough of her plastered cucumber ice cream. Even my husband, who has picked hazelnuts or salted caramel above all, tried my 'gurkeneis' and said 'not bad'. That's a lot coming from him, a sugar addict. I usually order an ice spoon on a waffle cone if I even order ice cream. Sometimes, very rarely I command two pots and let my husband help me finish it. At this wonderful ice shop, at my last visit, before we had to leave the city, I ordered two pots (Mojito and cucumber ice cream) in a cup of mixed nuts. It came with a delicious, thin nuts brittle and crispy wafer wedge. When I disappeared my ice cream, I regretted that I did not order three pots (band chocolate) and asked for chocolate powder on the top. Boy, my mouthwater when I think of this concoction, but only at Urban's. I'd like to go back to Burg, just for Urban's ice. And that comes from a rare ice eater. Who knows if we stayed in Burg for longer, I might have prepared to order their iron plates. The ice cream in this place will even tempt the hardest non-ice cream eater as I do. It's really so good!
Our ice cups with strawberries were a poem, a dream, only divine! Rarely that I never had such a delicious ice cream. The Urban's is really recommended!
