Ok at a minimalist level. The menu showed all of what you would expect. One downer being that not all items were available. Curry is my thing. Ordered it Thai hot. Spicy was ok, but not to my standards. I almost went to the Indian place down the street where the Vindaloo does not disappoint. Ordered the fried meat plate. Again ok. Nothing special. Had to add chili flakes in an attempt to kick up the heat. Just changed the color of the curry and did nothing for the meat place is not worth the $30+ for two plates and a tea.
Omg! best restaurant in palau by far! the personal is like family, they are always so nice to us! when they visit palau, make sure they pass and give them a try!!!
Phad Thai was too sweet. Tom Kha Gai was ok but the consistency makes me think they used coconut cream instead of milk. They did not ask for spice level but provide chili flakes, a bit unusual. It seems to be Thai food modified to suit the locals, possibly Filipino cooks due to the sweetness of the dishes. Don't sit in the front, it's hot, ask to be seated in the main dining area where it's cooler.
I am pretty disappointed how this place get good reviews... The food served doesn't taste like Thai food, but more like lousy Chinese food (fyi, I am a chinese). Maybe the chef is having a bad day, or the chef is a replacement for this evening.
