Przekaż informację zwrotnąOphelia is the fine dining facility in constanz, in an art deco villa on the bottom sea, and dirk hoberk and team earn their two stars and accents. the menu we had was excellent by the superb amuse bouche (lake constance whitefish; flower flower truffle; charred...leek; a very interesting duroc cataific by the scallop with fennel, dill, buttermilk and caviar, the carabinero, monkfish with artichoke and pork bauch, to guinea fowl and dessert. the service was attentive, but a little on the formal side, but then we compared it with the service in black forest room in the night before. the wine list is strong on local and German weeping; note that the wee from Lake Constance (lake constance) at the beginning of the wine list do not clearly distinguish white and red, which can lead to misunderstandings and in our case actually led to one. one of the better two stars we have visited over the years.
My wife and I live in constanz and treat us 2-3 times a year to the unique experience of an evening meal in ophelia. I have eaten on Michelin Star sites all over the world, but dirk hoberg's attention to detail, precision and constant search for perfection. for me, this restaurant is not only a way around. these times felt different. this menu had ambitious, a new feeling of creativity. each cure came with the standard description of three or four key components, but then had two surprises that they really blown away. so my conclusion: mr. hoberg is back on the attack. my advice: treat yourself while this is two stars.
Yet another wonderful experience at Ophelia! We love visiting during the summer months when you can sit outside on the beautiful terrace and indulge in the incredible menu. The staff was very attentive and classic, the food was creative and inspired, and the atmosphere wonderful....What a great evening! On top of it they were able to accommodate a severe food allergy (with advanced notice) thank you to the chefs!
Last night we visited a late birthday dinner gift from our friends from Denmark.
Perfect timing as the reopening of the restaurant before my birthday happened. So we went with a friend of mine to my actual birthday to celebrate both of them. it was another remarkable culinary journey from @dirkhoberg. a joy for all senses, a treat for their eyes and a reward for their palate and their souls. there were a few new creations, and it is impossible to call out a particular one, but the laugh had a texture I never experienced, it was beyond lovely. dirk hoberg has resurrected and left the 4 of us amazed and happy. only the bummer was at the end of the steep service decline. as soon as the kitchen checked every table, plagued with us and left the service went down. when we asked for coffee and espresso, there was no competition without sugar or something. we asked about the bill that came another 10 minutes after the coffee. only after we got up from our table, the service team came back (from their break and brought the competition four. So we had to put ourselves back on the table that was unpleasant and only when she brought me a birthday cake and said: we can pack it for her no birthday or an apology. we were a commanded confused about this slapstick situation and a little embarrassing moment, and the last neighborish was quite out of us and coming back, just to a cake and some joys that they would rather have enjoyed with their coffee. this tastes bad at the end of an otherwise charming evening and should not happen in such a great restaurant with such a passionate kitchen and a chef!
