Peyote - Koh Phangan

We had not expected much, but were blown away, how good the vegan tacos here we are trying to get the vegan “chorizo” in and the “Al pastor” (vegan pork) and both were great! The vegan Chorizo Burrito and the Quesadilla were also good, but not as good as the Tacos. Beautiful atmosphere and fast service! Updated by previous rating on 2022 03 11

I am a fan of Mexican food and decided to give this restaurant a try. It exceeded my expectations in every way. The atmosphere is fantastic and they have a great selection of vegan options clearly marked on the menu. The owner was very accommodating and even allowed my child to order a side of Mexican rice, which was not listed, and she loved it. I ordered the standard vegan burrito (though there were other choices) and it was absolutely delicious. My only minor complaint would be that it would have been nice to see some beans included in the price, but the burrito itself was quite large. We are only in town for a few days, but we are already thinking about coming back for another meal because we enjoyed it so much.
