Nok's Kitchen - Koh Phangan

Many vegan options and fair prices. the owners are very friendly, we came almost every day at our stay in koh phangan!

We had dinner here this evening and really enjoyed our meal, we both had the tofu with red curry and rice. The meal was a little bit smaller than we would have liked, but the flavours were really good. Will definitely be coming back again to try some more dishes over the next few weeks. Lots of vegan food, very tasty and really cheep. The service is very friendly. If you read any reviews about “slow” and “we wait so long”, good and fresh food needs some time. She cooks everything fresh and with love. #Veganuary

This place has a page on the menu dedicated to vegan vegetarian food but unfortunately it's very underwhelming. Penang curry was just watery coconut with some very small pieces of chopped vegetables, no tofu etc. The Tom yum was probably the best dish, but it also just contained very small pieces of vegetables and lacked any depth of flavour. Service was very slow despite no other customers and the food didn't come together. Staff not that friendly either but it's fairly cheap. So many amazing vegan places in this area I certainly won't be rushing back. Updated from previous review on 2022-01-02

Run by Nok and her husband it offers an alternative to the rather pricey restaurants here. Sadly not fully vegan but has a dedicated vegan menu offering great food cooked with care by the owners themselves.
