Great “retro” barbecue in the middle of Istedgade. Good flounced sandwiches!

I visited Isted Grill in May 2024. After trying Mr Lee’s delicious roast pork sandwich, I can see why this is a legendary institution in Vesterbro, Copenhagen. His Flæskestegssandwich offers crisp pork, creamy sauce, and pickles—a perfect blend of savory, tangy, and satisfying textures. The best is the price of the sandwich is so affordable, compared to typical Denmark’s restaurants’s standards! HIGHLY recommend if you are in Copenhagen! Recommended by a friend to get the flæskesteg sandwich (pork sandwich). So good I had to get a second.

I had a bacon cheese burger, it was very good! Simple place, very nice food
