Nice brasserie with a cozy atmosphere and helpful staff. The courses are small so you would need a few.

Have been there a couple of times. The food is delicious, the ambience nice, service good. Will definitely come again.

Going to a French restaurant as French tourists was a strange choice (but it was by far the best ranked restaurant in the neighborhood so we picked Brasserie Barner). What a great surprise! It would qualify as a very fine restaurant even in France! From starter to dessert, perfectly executed, very original, refined, with a lovely service and generous glasses of wine. We had a great time and would fully recommend to anyone willing to eat French food with Danish service! Thank you

My partner had beef tartare and a steak with fried fois gras. He found them lovely, which he doesn't easily do. Except that the tasty steak was only 2 pieces, and the rest was a big bread piece inside the dish. I had the fish, which was just alright, not bad, but also nothing special. The service, however, is great, and all the jungle plants inside make for a great evening out. I would be curious to give it another try at some point later.

What sublime experience to take an evening meal at Barns. Despite limited time (sodium in the theatre) we reached a few snacks and a main dish. Delicious, delicate things in small bowls with extremely tasty black footskins on Karl Johan mushrooms and another with ande rilette. Not to forget their super delicious, small bread, served with a small bowl butter. The pride was "cooked" but prepared in the best way and juicy with half onion sides, where lovely sauce was dripped down. In addition, some highly concentrated pure of spinach and slightly baked onions. Next to a bowl glogging potato/oste gratin. The wine card was French, but even a wine in the low price class tasted amazing! Friendly and attentive (but discreet) operation as well as a wonderful atmosphere in the cosy furnished rooms with lots of plants make the experience one of the best long. The menu card is not big therefore you can focus on the few dishes, which you will certainly get maximum attention. We will soon come again!
