Tomato Head is a staple in Knoxville. This location doesn’t have the same vibe as the downtown location, but it’s far more accessible and less of a wait. I have never had a negative experience there. I have had salad, calzones, pizza, and their veggie burger. I love how I have multiple options to choose from. Highly recommend if you’re in town.

I don’t really go to tomato head much, but when i do i always love it! it was my first time eating vegan here, and i was very happy at the large amount of vegan options. i got the black bean siracha hummus, as an appetizer, and it was so so good, i really recommend! (only sad thing was the super small amount of chips) second, for my entree i got a calzone with vegan cheese, seitan pepperoni, and no ricotta. it was amazing as well, and i certainly didn’t expect the pepperoni to taste as good as it did. the vegan sugar glaze cookie was perfection as well! As a vegan, just a few options, though what they do offer is good quality food. Venue cafe style, with both indoor and patio seating/eating. I like the #1 pizza with the veg pesto and vegan cheese best. Staff helpful and knowledgeable. A little pricier than some other similar spots, though worth it.
