Great draft beer selection. The Caribbean chicken is damn good. I can't wait to be on the upstairs patio once a gets warm outside.

Love. This. Place. Our family has been coming to Sunspot since it opened. We have shared many meals here: from celebrations of baptisms, mourning the loss of loved ones, large office parties, cozy Sunday brunches EVERY SUNDAY since our kids were newborns, Martini Mondays on the patio with our puppy... and the list goes on. This place is like home. The servers, new and veteran, truly care about you and are just simply kind when no one is looking. Stone was on point tonight helping us have a relaxed meal with toddlers. Maddie, one of their great servers (who has even taken our 4 yo on an elevator ride when his newborn brother was being fussy! , stopped us on the way to the bathroom and called our oldest by his name and asked how we were doing. Kristin, probably one of the most attentive and consistent restaurant managers I have ever known, asked us what we honestly thought of the new menu, and to tell you the truth, I was surprised that our old favorites had left to make room for some new staples. But, I am so glad we came tonight! The mussels and green curry are WOW. I was so excited to see shellfish on the menu that we both added shrimp to our salads. My arugula and fennel salad was on point with the Marcona almonds as a great addition to this plate. My husband loved the cauliflower as a side. Our kids were smiling with the 'chicky fingers ' 'rice and peas ' and we didn 't want to share the über fresh and yummy guacamole with the blue corn chips. I do miss the capers in the famous tomatillo salsa but we are excited to come back and try all of the creative and thoughtful plates on the new menu. It is always good to see our friends and meet new ones here The Spot. The menu is inspirational and unique. It is nice to see a restaurant that is willing to challenge typical Knoxville cuisine. We will continue to support Randy The Sun Spot even if some of our favorite dishes are on holiday (i.e.: Elvis, Kale Salad Pork Belly Tacos . Cheers to your continued success see you next week!

Had the most delicious roasted jerk chicken, sorghum whipped sweet potatoes and braised greens. Everything was seasoned to perfection, especially the greens! I could have just had those and would be happy. One of my favorite restaurants. All three of us at the table were very pleased with our meals. Our service was excellent as well. Kuddos to the chef.

I cannot say enough great things about my lunch today! The chips were great, the server brought us water right away without asking, the kale salad was scrumptious...even something as simple as steamed broccoli was perfect!!! Our dashingly tall server was personable and polite! Thank you for such a surprisingly delectable meal!

We love the beer and wine dinners.... but we just love this place!!! we just can't get there as often as we would like!!!!!!!!!!
