Sonic Drive-in - Knoxville

We wanted a quick brunch after church for the kids and one wanted fries. We got home and the fries were old, hard, and cold. Not to mention the lid on my wife’s drink almost came off. Luckily she caught it but it did spill on her clothes. We were the only car at the Sonic ordering. We went through the drive thru. To get fries like we did made me cringe how they looked and how old they were. For the employees to think it was ok to give out food like what was served made me not want to return. My child’s grill cheese was like eating a sponge. Could hardly bite through the bread. Quality has really taken a turn for the worse. I will not be returning.

Stopped to grab a quick and late lunch for myself and my two year old after the usual lunchtime rush. After pushing the button, we sat there while two cars around us who pulled in after us were helped before we were and even after I pushed the button again thinking it maybe didn’t work, absolutely nothing. Rather than fight about it after waiting for just over 10 minutes, I took my business elsewhere.As someone who is aware of the shortage in work staff at many places and who has been understanding of that as someone who used to work in customer service, there’s no excuse for blatantly ignoring or picking and choosing what customers you serve when you’re busy . A simple, “we’ll be with you in a moment” would have helped the situation.Do better, y’all.

Everything in my order was disappointing. My breakfast burrito was made completely wrong. No sausage, one flat sheet of egg instead of scrambled eggs, and sticky American cheese instead of cheddar. The tater tots were cold and were not salted. Very bland. The Cinnasnacks were cold and the dough was raw! I’m not sure if they don’t know how to make the burrito or if someone is just lazy. Every time I order it, it is done halfa and wrong!

Got charged Twice! Didn’t realize it at the time. Paid right there when I placed my order, it was not clear that the charge went through. When the waitress brought the food she said we didn’t pay. We told her we paid when we ordered. So we paid AGAIN at her insistence. The next day both charges showed up on our card. What the heck And the burger fries were just so-so.
