Shoney's N. Broadway - Knoxville

My family visited the store this past Sunday (Father's Day)around 4:30 and I just wanted to let you know that the food on the bar was amazing, especially the Steak and Ribs. The young lady that greeted us when we walked in and sat us was nice and friendly, we also noticed that she was working her behind off to keep the food on the bar full fresh and clean, which it was she did an excellent job, even though she was running back and forth from cash register to bar.(i think her name tag said Tracy) i just wanted to say thank you to the staff for always making sure we are well taken care of.

The food is great, no wait for seating or service. Our server Amanda was very nice and kind. Did periodic checks on us and cleaned the table and refilled our drinks while we were at the bar. So perfect social distancing. It's been a while since I've had service this good. I do like how they are requiring new gloves to the buffet that they provide for each trip to the bar. Its really peaceful here. Quiet and professional. Definitely a place I will be returning to.

Good food on the buffet and the service was good . Plenty of parking . Our Waiter was on the spot quick on asking how everything was and if we needed anything and a real nice man !

This is a jewel in the city. I have been a patron here for years when my children were small all the way to now their parents themselves they watched my children grow and they have been there to offer condolences as I've even lost a child. The staff here is wonderful and it's wonderful to know that there are faces that have been there for years that we have bonded to and grown with and some of us has even grown old with LOL. That small town home feeling that you get in a slightly larger City than where I came from feels good and it's comforting and makes me feel like I'm back home. Sandra is the best!!!!!The food is always good here and service is remarkable and kind and is always shared with a laughter and a memory. Please bring back the fried squash and churro's please!!!!!! NEW UPDATE!!!! I KNOW EARLIER I HAD LEFT A COMPLETE FIVE STAR BUT AFTER COMING TODAY IT WAS A LITTLE DIFFERENT THAN IT HAD BEEN BEFORE. IT MAY HAVE BEEN BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL STAFF MEMBERS WERE NOT HERE OR SOMETHING IDK! BUT THE BAR HAD EMPTY ITEMS ON IT AND STALE OR DRY ITEMS, AND UNREPLENISHED FOOD,WHICH NEVER HAPPENS BECAUSE IT'S ALWAYS STOCKED FRESH, THE EGGS THAT THEY BROUGHT OUT WERE LITERALLY HALF AND HALF HALF RUNNY HALF SOLID AS THOUGH THEY WERE RUSHED OUT OR SOMETHING AFTER, WE REQUESTED RESTOCK ON BACON AND EGGS AND THAT THE FRENCH TOAST STICKS WERE NOT FRESH. OUT OF YEARS COMING HERE, THIS WAS A DISAPPOINTING 1st.....
