Nick J's Cafe - Knoxville

My partner and I went for lunch on Friday, and we were fortunate to find a parking spot since they're usually packed! It's been years since our last visit, but one thing hasn't changed: the food is still fantastic! I ordered the club sandwich, and my husband got a bacon cheeseburger. Both were excellent. The sides were some of the best I've had. We sat at a table that allowed our waitress to keep our drinks filled; she was very attentive and clearly knows her regular customers well. She even chatted with us about dessert. The peanut butter cake and banana pudding were phenomenal! Their prices are reasonable for the generous portions you get. We can't wait to come back for breakfast soon!

Bring your appetite, folks! This café serves up thick, juicy burgers that can easily compete with any steakhouse fare. The salads are fresh, and the French fries are hot and crispy. It’s hard not to come here for a taste of these delicious offerings. If you're hungry, don’t wait 30 minutes—just go!

The onion rings were some of the best I've ever had. We sat at the counter, which allowed our waitress to keep our drinks full; she was such a sweetheart and really connected with her customers. You could tell there were plenty of regulars. She even encouraged us to try dessert, although it didn’t take much persuasion! The peanut butter pie and banana pudding were incredible! The prices are also very reasonable for the portion sizes. We’ll definitely be returning soon for breakfast!

We visited Knoxville from out of state and found Nick J's after searching for a place to eat online. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, we knew it would be good because it was bustling with cars. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and seated right away. Our server, Anthony, was fantastic, and the food was absolutely outstanding. It was great to witness the interaction between the staff and regular customers; everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time. Our food arrived in about five minutes—piping hot and incredibly tasty. We both ordered the meat lovers omelet, and I added some veggies to mine, along with biscuits and gravy. We were so full that we couldn't finish everything! If we lived nearby, we would definitely be frequent visitors. We plan to come back a few times a year while in Tennessee and will make sure to return to Nick J's!

If we lived in the area, we would definitely become regulars! We plan to visit Tennessee several times a year, and Nick J's will definitely be on our itinerary for those trips.
