I rattle off my order to them and the only thing I hear In response is a few “mhms” and the total cost of my order. This is the ideal interaction between fast food employee and customer I feel. None of us want to be here and we don’t need to pretend to be, let’s both carry our shame privately like men and get this done with as little human interaction as possible. As I said almost all employees at this McDonalds are exceptional at this, they show a complete disregard for any interest in speaking to me, as god intended, except for one. The big balding guy that seems to be a manager just talks too much. It’s always in a friendly tone but the guy just has too much to say. I don’t care what would’ve been the most efficient way for me to have ordered my combo meal, I’ve already ordered so let’s just shut up and get this over with. Otherwise this is a McDonald’s, you know McDonald. It’s a McDonald’s.
The second worst experience at a Knoxville McDonalds. The worst experience food wise. What was my order? A 6 piece happy meal and a large order of fries and a caramel cappuccino. Only positive is my son's chocolate milk was cold. Also cold were the fries for both him and I and the nuggets. The nuggets were both cold and hard. The fries were cold and soggy. They also had a lot of black specs that looked like pepper and some fries were burnt. Disappointing after waiting 30 minutes on our order and we dined in. The cappuccino was also not correct. It was a plain cappuccino instead of a caramel cappuccino. I couldn't not catch the attention of anyone in the store, and that is why I am leaving this review before I leave. Disappointing all the way around and we are throwing the food out so it was wasted money.
Can I take your order was interrupted 3 times with hold on. Each time after about 30 seconds he said can I take your order like he never talked to me. 4th time a woman said can I take your order and I told her no thank you and drove away.
This location was the worst I 've ever been to. We went in the drive thru. They rang up the order incorrectly. The screen was going slow and didn 't show all details, so we weren 't able to verify. The person at the first window didn 't confirm the details of our order. Just wanted us to pay. Sent us to the second window. We were pulled around to the front and had to wait for a very simple order considering for 4 adults and a child. The teas we asked for were unsweet, and we got sweet tea. The soda we ordered was not supposed to be see through. The burgers we got had onions, we asked for no onions. It even said no onions on that little paper they put on burgers. The attitudes we got from everyone we encountered was highly disappointing. That was a complete waste of $35. Most of the food was trashed due to the order being monumentally wrong. There was no sense in going back and dealing with the bull that we had already went through. We were from out of town. Never have I encountered such lack of customer service and quality of food at a McDonald 's before.
I did a Mobil order for pick up when I got there they had most of my food ready and had me pull up for the fries. Eric brought my food out and I had forgotten I didn’t get handed the happy meal thankfully he mentioned it and made sure I got the juice as well! I would have done the survey but unfortunately the ink was running low and so I can’t read the survey code to do it! Eric was very friendly and nice!
